The Arenac Eastern Community In Action (Your very own CIA) Committee joined with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to provide supplemental foods to elementary students and families of the Arenac Eastern School District. This grant program is an emergency feeding program intended for families who are having trouble making ends meet. Families are welcome to come one time per month to pick up a nice selection of non perishable food items on the following dates:
Jan 6 & 20
Feb 3 & 17
March 3 & 17
April 7 & 21
May 5 & 19
Food is available until gone, first come, first serve. The location is Arenac Eastern, Room 120-(Park in front and use Main Entrance) beginning at 3:15 ending at 5 pm. No early arrivals, please. Please bring bags and boxes, extras are greatly appreciated! Call 867-4234 ex 1156 or 867-4816 with questions.
